To Green bathrobe and slippers guy: As you were rushing to return your movies, fate happened that two beautiful women caught you out of the corner of their eyes! While you were turning a deep shade of red, we were leaving to watch "I know who killed me", that real piece of work with Li-lo. We really had to get on that. Its too bad we didnt stop and get your number, or the morning paper for you. You could hang your bathrobe in our bathroom anytime! Please dont be embarrassed, cottony green looks good on you. Im sure your birthday suit does too! Come back to Blockbuster soon, we are always renting movies. Bring the Robe. And nothing else.

Destiny Calls

OMG! LOST!

I just finished watching all the seasons on DVD, and I wrote down important numbers and information. Season 5 is in 4 1/2 days. I am so excited. Many people are turned away by the mysteries that are brought up and remain unsolved in Lost's storyline...and possibly also by the weirdness and now, downright obvious fantasy/science fiction twists. But personally, these things to me are what makes it so great, and why I come back for more. I could sit down and watch all the seasons again right now. Lost is great television--great story telling--

I am a fan of the characters Desmond Hume, Daniel Faraday, Sayid Jarrah, and Juliet Burke. I loved Charlie, but alas, he died. I also loved Jin, who, could be dead, but is still involved in the filming of season 5.
My predictions for the season 5 "Premier Event" on Wednesday night:
-Locke is still alive and just "paralyzed"
-the Island went back in time, or the people's consciousnesses went back in time
-someone has a baby: Desmond and Penny?
-Ben is a bad person..oh wait, that never changes? Ben is by far one of my favorite characters TO HATE. He is SOOO good at being bad. I love it.
"I want you to want to save my life." - Ben to Jack (reminds me of the Break Up "I want you to want to do the dishes."-"Who would ever want to do dishes?")
Anyway, LOST is amazing, and I will definitely be talking about it...all the time.

Starting out in 2009

Okay--long time, no post. 2009 could be a great year. So far, it's been okay.

I bought a nifty International Weekly Calendar, similar to this book:

The 2009 Calendar of Bunny Suicides. I'll admit, it's very dark, dark humor. But since I have a rabbit, a furry little brat, I think I can safely lug the datebook around and not feel guilty. It's almost like all those dead baby jokes, but not quite as bad.
So as far as school schedules go, I have a relatively light load of 4 classes. We'll see how I feel about it in a month.
My Goals for 2009 *mostly for the semester*
-finish my applications and get accepted to all the schools. Go to UL. LOL.
-finish my first novel. I laugh. It could happen.
-eat more vegetables, less Chipotle.
-read more books, at a healthy level...NOT staying up 8 hours until 7 am to finish a book I started the night before.
-Go to church every Sunday.
I can't think of any others right now.
Wherever I am transferring to, *cough* UL *cough*, I think I want to move there in June, and either take a part-time schedule, or no schedule at all, and just work and get used to the new environment. Thanks Dad, for that great piece of advice. A Hilary out of water is no pretty sight.
Um...anything else? I guess I could post it later. Ciao.
